New Class: Sewers, Fatbergs, and YOU

Yesterday, FLUSH debuted a new public class about sewers and fatbergs at the Brooklyn Brainery. The class is an introduction to how sewers work and their origins, as well as what are fatbergs and how people can prevent them.

We were pleased that we had a SOLD OUT class! The participants were interested and asked lots of great questions about where the best sewer systems are in the world, how do we prevent industrial and restaurant waste to clog up our sewers, and what can we do with fatberg goo, since we have it.

Many of our participants were professionals in development and real estate. Some event asked for a "102" version of the class. We'll see - let's start small!
